The Nostalgia Gallery

This is the Nostalgia Gallery! This is a place for some reminiscing about past events at Lansdown Hall and Gallery. We’ve got it rolling by putting some of our own photos up, but we’d absolutely LOVE for this to be something that you join in with. Send us your photos of parties, gigs, plays, exhibitions, choirs, etcetera so that we can share them. Contact us at lhandgmemories@gmail.com – we’d love to hear from you.

Digital Arts Showcase

We are running a Digital Arts showcase during the lockdown as a way of A: keeping a (very small) bit of income coming in B: continuing to serve our community with art and C: promoting local artists. This gallery contains the entries we have had so far, all of them gorgeous in our opinion!

If you are interested in taking part in the Digital Arts Showcase, the details are below:

1) To help Lansdown Hall & Gallery, donate through our paypal button on our website. £5 entry plus £1 per artwork (after the first) up to three images per artist. One submission per person. (total donation £7 per person)

2) Send us your images (up to three) of your artwork (2D and 3D work accepted) plus your name, bio, and links to social media and website!

3) Once we have posted make sure to share! Plus look through others work, like and comment to show your support!

Additionally, if you are taking part in the #artistsupportpledge please let us know so we can add the hashtag plus prices of works!

Please email your artwork to gallery@lansdownhall.org, and put the subject line as “DIGITAL ARTS SHOWCASE”. Please include a postcode so we can verify that you are a “local” artist within a 10 mile range of Lansdown Hall & Gallery (preferably within Gloucestershire). Please ensure that your artwork images are high quality jpeg or png images to ensure compatibility, and that you have included your name, bio, and links to any website or social media that you would like us to include.
