Long River Tai Chi Circle England is starting a tai chi beginners class on 24th January. We teach the Yang style 37 posture form made famous by Cheng Man-ching, who taught in New York in the 1960s.
Cheng reduced the long Yang family form to its essence, emphasising health and meditation. The slow and gentle movements of the form promote relaxation and softness to reduce stress and facilitate the development and flow of internal energy.
First class free, after that £5 per class.
Note – starting January 24th 2019, we will be learning the Short Yang Tai Chi form of Cheng Man-ching from the beginning.
