The Robert Wedderburn Story

Saturday 28th November
Doors Open 7pm for 7.30pm start

Last Legs Dance Theatre – live performance & post show discussion.

Robert Wedderburn was a political activist of Jamaican/ Scottish heritage from the early 1800’s fighting for the freedom of slaves and equality for the poor in London. Like all influences from people of colour before 1948, their untold stories remain in our liberation but not in our education. Last Legs Dance Theatre will tell his story through dance, text and music pulling this history out from the fabric our British culture and into the arena of discussion.
