An exhibition of artworks by John Pilston.
The retrospective, which looks back at nearly 60 years and includes more than 40 works in a variety of media, has been taken from the walls of family and friends to be seen together and publicly for the first time since his degree show in 1959.
When asked what he paints John Pilston answers ‘Jazz’ and asked where his colours come from he answers ‘The 1950s’ yet he has created a contemporary body of work which resonates today as much as it would have 60 years ago.
Artworks are not for sale – Prints are available from £30 on request.
