18th and 19th April
Flies present their second 21st Anniversary production ‘Stargazing’ directed by Jo Bousfield & Suki Hutcheson.
Set in a fantasy world 2028, the story explores a society obsessed with astrology. Virgo goes missing and two ‘banished’ star signs try to muscle their way in. Add a cricket team, some lost Vikings, a bunch of chefs and a family in turmoil, and the show grabs it's audience by it's lapels, whirls it through the universe and finally deposits it, laughing, on a feather mattress, under a twinkling night sky. The thirty-strong cast of young people from the Stroud Valleys sing and dance their hearts out to music by Jez Taylor and ‘good feel’ factor abounds.
