Wednesday 2nd – Saturday 5th October
Bodyline is a group exhibition of recent paintings and drawings of the human figure by artists who attend Stroud Life Drawing’s popular sessions. Organised by Keith Symonds, these are held on Saturday afternoons at the Centre for Science & Art and Monday evenings at Raw Umber Studios. The sessions provide a regular drawing opportunity for anyone interested in honing their observational skills and tackling the visual challenge which the body presents. With its roots going back to the Renaissance, life drawing did, for many years, form the basis of western art education and is still an important part of artistic training.
