Flies on the Wall Youth Theatre are a thriving youth theatre based in Stroud. We are now running four groups during term time at Lansdown Hall.
The team
Sessions are run by Artistic Director Rosie Mason with visiting theatre practitioners also offering a range of one off workshops from time to time.
For our productions our team swells to include a professional musical director, set and costume and lighting designers.
Our ethos
The emphasis at Flies is on working as a playful ensemble to develop a wide range of theatre making skills including comedy, improvisation, physical theatre, clown and classical and contemporary text analysis.
Each group works towards one full scale production each academic year.
There are no auditions to join Flies or to be in our shows. We just ask for commitment and focus.
Our Groups
WEDNESDAY GROUP 1
- For Years 8, 9 & 10
- 6.15pm – 7.30 pm (1 hr 15)
- Wednesday Group 1 will present a show during Feb half term
WEDNESDAY GROUP 2
- For years 11+
- 7.30pm -9.00pm (1 hr 30)
- Wednesday Group 1 will present a show during the Easter holidays
THURSDAY GROUP 1
- For years 8,9,10
- 6.15pm – 7.30 pm (1 hr 15)
- Thursday Group 1 will present a show during May half term
