A celebration of the friendship between the First World War poet and composer, Ivor Gurney, and violinist, musicologist and champion of women musicians, Marion Scott.  It was to Scott that Gurney sent his music and poetry from the trenches; his writing coloured by the horror of the Great War and his deep love for his native Gloucestershire. Jan Carey’s extensive television appearances include I Claudius, Downton  Abbey, Killing Eve.
