Every Which Way But Loose…

What do  Aldi, Clint Eastwood, mushrooms, and a bollard have in common? We have absolutely no idea, but artists Disect, Crazy Horse and The Fox just might be on to something. It’s the third year this unlikely trio have exhibited together at Lansdown Gallery; it’s becoming a bit of a thing. Expect the unexpected as all three present their own reinventions of reality in a multitude of forms, tantalisingly mixing the archival with the now, bending your senses into their imaginary worlds through collage, painting and sculptural montage. 

They don’t pretend to have all the answers, but what they do have is club-forward duo Wooolheads making a traditional (yet untraditional) appearance, adding a fourth and possibly fifth dimension with their electro-art music. What’s not to like if you’re looking for an eclectic sensory feast of the avant-garde? 

It could all be tongue-in-cheek, but then again it might be truly profound. We’ll leave you to decide.
