Examined Expressions
The exhibition showcases the work of thirteen art psychotherapists with diverse artistic styles working across various media, living and working in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and Northants. The artwork is influenced by the artists’ professional background as art psychotherapists and inspired variously by the ‘lived experiences of the clients and on the ability for art to span bridge between the known and unknown….on nature and the environment…on how the creative process can be both spontaneous, and impressionistic as well as considered and evolved over multiple processes and layers; on our relationships with ourselves and others…’
